Why Create Fillable exists
Many useful forms begin as a Word document or flat PDF. Making them interactive can mean buying specialist software or manually tracing every blank, checkbox and table cell.
Create Fillable offers a simpler path: open the existing document, click Auto-place, review the suggested fields and export a fillable PDF.
What the editor can do
Place fields automatically
Find likely labels, answer lines, table cells, dates, checkboxes and printed choices across a document.
Fine-tune every control
Add, remove, move, resize, rename and style fillable text fields, checkboxes and dropdowns.
Edit page content
Work with detected text and image regions, replacement text, added images, background boxes and borders.
Start with Word or PDF
Open a PDF directly or convert a modern .docx locally with a browser-based LibreOffice engine.
Private by design
Document reading, conversion, field detection, editing and export happen in your browser. The document is not sent to an online conversion server, and no account is required.
Create Fillable uses limited, privacy-restricted website analytics to understand whether the interface works. Document pages, PDF canvas pixels, visible text and form input values are excluded or masked from session replay.
Read the full Privacy Policy for the distinction between local document processing and website analytics.
Built for practical work
Create Fillable is intended for administrative teams, small organizations and anyone working with applications, safety reports, inspections, employee documents, intake forms and similar everyday paperwork.
Digitally generated documents work best. Automatic suggestions still need human review, and image-only scans usually need OCR before fields can be detected automatically.
An independent product
Create Fillable is currently available without charge and is operated by Roger Gajraj.
It uses third-party and open-source components, including LibreOffice-based technology, but it is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Document Foundation, browser vendors, Adobe, Apple or other PDF-reader providers.
