The service and your permission to use it

Create Fillable is operated by Roger Gajraj. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Create Fillable provides browser-based tools for opening documents, detecting and editing PDF content, adding or changing interactive form fields, converting supported Word documents and exporting PDFs. It is currently offered without charge or a user account. Features, limits and pricing may change in the future.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive and revocable permission to use Create Fillable for lawful personal or business purposes.

The service is not directed specifically to children. A minor who cannot legally agree to these terms should use it only with the supervision and permission of a parent, guardian, school or other responsible adult.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the service to violate a law or another person’s rights.
• Create, alter or distribute fraudulent, deceptive or unauthorized documents.
• Use a file you do not have permission to use, alter or distribute.
• Introduce malware or deliberately harmful content.
• Interfere with the service or attempt unauthorized access to its systems.
• Overload, probe or bypass technical protections.
• Misrepresent an edited document as authentic, official or unaltered.

Your documents and output

You retain all rights you already have in your documents and exported files. Using Create Fillable does not transfer ownership of them to us.

You are responsible for having the necessary permissions to use, alter and distribute each document. You are also responsible for protecting sensitive information and meeting any privacy, employment, health, financial, recordkeeping or industry-specific obligations that apply to you.

Review before relying on a form

Automatic placement produces suggestions, not guaranteed results. Review field position, size, type and name; required fields and validation; text, image and overlay placement; page and print layout; accessibility; compatibility; and any legal or organizational requirements.

Keep an unchanged original and test the exported PDF before distributing or relying on it.

Important document limitations

Create Fillable is not an OCR service, secure-redaction product, electronic-signature or identity-verification service, legal or compliance service, records-management system, or malware scanner. It does not guarantee that a form meets accessibility standards.

Editing a digitally signed PDF can invalidate its existing signatures. Password-protected, encrypted, XFA, highly complex, damaged or unusual PDFs may not work. You should open only documents you trust.

Third-party technology and intellectual property

Create Fillable uses third-party and open-source software, including PDF libraries, browser technology and a LibreOffice-based Word conversion engine. Those components may have separate licence notices. References to LibreOffice, browsers, PDF readers or other products are descriptive; Create Fillable is independent and is not endorsed by their providers.

Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms. We do not control their availability, security or output.

Except for your documents and third-party components, Create Fillable’s branding, design, website content and original software are owned by Roger Gajraj and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation while retaining any rights the law does not permit you to waive.

Availability, changes and access

We may update, limit, suspend or discontinue any part of the service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, support for every document or continued availability of any free feature.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these terms or comply with law.

No warranties and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Create Fillable is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that automatic placement will identify every field, that conversion will perfectly reproduce a Word document, that edits will be irreversible, or that an exported file will work in every PDF viewer.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Roger Gajraj will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost documents, data, profits, business, goodwill or opportunities arising from the service. Total liability relating to the service will not exceed the greater of USD $50 or the amount you paid for it during the preceding 12 months.

These exclusions do not apply where the law prohibits them. Nothing here excludes consumer rights or warranties that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse Roger Gajraj for reasonable losses and costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, violation of these terms or infringement of another person’s rights.

Governing law and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in New York will have jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them.
